Wafflemaker versions

Working files that preceded the current Wafflemaker are arranged by function and server date. Authorship order cannot be inferred from the dates. Several July files are parallel experiments. The suffix `(17)` in the Backroom Prompter filename is not an internal release number. ## Source materials Supporting archives, HTML working files, text derivatives, and the reference recording are available in the asset index . Each entry states how the file relates to Wafflemaker 0.2.0 and records any inspection limit. ## Performance line Creator Bootcamp Editable Six-Second Teleprompter is dated 29 June 2026. Entries are available for 31 days. The hook and pinned comment are editable by the creator. The monologue is also editable. The performer reads six-second beats while the current word is marked. Mirror and full-screen controls are available. Edits are kept in browser storage. Text and JSON can be exported. An edited HTML file can also be exported. Vertical Beat Teleprompter, mobile v2 is dated 29 June 2026. A 9:16 stage is used. The performer navigates by touch and can see the adjacent beats. Beat length and word fit can be adjusted. Sentence punctuation is used during automatic splitting. A timeline is available. The screen can be kept awake. Edits are stored in the browser and can be exported as text. Backroom Prompter is dated 9 July 2026. Corpus browsing and recording controls are present in the same file. Sources can be imported, and script sections can be edited. The creator can search the component library or select a seeded remix recipe. Structural checks and word-level prompting are available. The performer can test the microphone and share the screen. A browser recording can also be made. ### Backroom working updates Several working files dated 7 July contain the same 39-entry corpus and 212 segments. Prompt editing and text export are present in one file. Microphone testing and screen sharing are present. Browser recording is also available. Deterministic remix and one-take playback appear in another file. Shuffle and surprise operations appear in a separate file. Pattern pages and file-library intake are present in one branch. JSON export is included there; Markdown export is also available. Advanced remix controls are absent from a parallel file saved one minute earlier. A single release sequence cannot be inferred because features are distributed across the files. Features from these files are present in the published Backroom Prompter dated 9 July. Mid-Atlantic Six-Second Monologue Teleprompter is dated 10 July 2026. There are 580 six-second beats in 29 two-minute scenes. Mid-Atlantic respellings are marked in amber. The performer uses the Space bar for playback and the arrow keys to move between beats. No editor or persistent state is present. The later server date is insufficient evidence that this file superseded Backroom Prompter. ## Deterministic cards and recordings Waffle Maker 27.2 is dated 19 July 2026. Twenty-four candidates are computed deterministically under a 21-word card limit. Cards can be timed at 3.5 or 7 seconds. A 10.5-second timing class is also available. The operator uses typed commands for dealing and reading. Pickups and meter changes are controlled by command. Edits and takes can be recorded. Patch records are available. Subtitles and word data can be exported. Script export is available separately. Waffle Maker 28 is dated 2 August 2026. Version 28 includes a sixth STRUCTURE page and draggable card nodes. Stage editing is available. Timing changes can be replayed from patches. QUOTE and JOKE are used as functional labels. The 21-word limit and deterministic deal are unchanged. The linked file remains available. The Slop №2 is dated 4 August 2026. Raw prose is divided by a bounded dynamic-programming procedure based on Knuth-Plass line breaking. The 21-word limit and declared syllable targets are applied. The creator can edit or remove cards. Beat and timing values can be assigned. Candidate placements can be inspected. A LOAD patch can be exported for Waffle Maker 28. Wafflemaker 0.2: Corpus to Recordings is a combined browser application. Corpus intake and proposed thought boundaries are available. Cards can be arranged in a recording queue. The performer can make a browser recording. Text and recording data can be exported. Proposed recordings are divided at paragraph or sentence boundaries. The six-second value is a card-layout target rather than a recording boundary. ## Current release As of 10 August 2026, Wafflemaker 0.3: Thought Pieces is the current release. Addressed source units are ranked by BM25, a deterministic formula based on matching words and their frequency. The creator pins exact units and sets their order. Source wording remains unchanged during assembly. Assembled output is labeled machine-assembled. Exports contain readable text and source provenance. RUN is a full-screen reading mode. The performer starts or pauses word marking with the Space bar. The recording queue from version 0.2 remains available. Camera and microphone permissions are unavailable to the cross-origin application when it is placed inside the current Federated Wiki frame. The full browser viewport is available during top-level RUN. BM25 scores are mechanical measurements of lexical overlap. The creator confirms semantic relations.
