We're liking the most recent version of the Photo Rotator because it has a hover that will show images selected from the same page. We've extended it with parameters for rotating through any site with an Image Caption Survey.

We wrote the first rotator for our wandering on neighborhood trails with over a thousand photos. This was then improved for our anticipated year of daily photos.
I leave the house about once a week to bicycle around the neighborhoods. I look for little trails I might have missed when I had more important places to go.
We found our friends unlikely to appreciate our hundreds of photographs if they couldn't see at least some of them on one page. So we happily rotate. Try 3×2 or 4×3
Now we have modified the rotator script so that it is less specifically about its current application. Above we invoke the script with size and site parameters. We offer an additional sufix parameter that can be selective about pages to be included in the rotator. github
One prepares a site by indexing pages with a one-time full-site survey. Launch the survey by dragging the probe to the desired site and clicking the launch button.
We maintain an index of managed image items so that they can be organized by location and/or caption contents. github
The survey reads hundreds of pages then offers an index page that must be forked to save it in the site. An update is offered from this which will do larger sites or after many pages have changed.
